Durability
The Tempur-Pedic is on the heavier side, and for a good reason. The foam thickness and density helped the Tempur-Pedic pass our bottoming-out tests.
This, plus the 10-year warranty, proved this topper can last long without losing its 'memory'.
Comfort
The Tempur-Pedic’s density adds a degree of firmness while still providing plenty of soft cushioning to the body.

You see the Malouf tagging along the Tempur-Pedic in EVERY mattress topper review because the Malouf is the best alternative to the Tempur-Pedic.
We tested these two simultaneously and felt little difference between the two ends of the Price Showdown spectrum.
Support
Overall, the Malouf is a well-built and cushy topper.
At two inches thick, the Malouf offers proper support to the pressure points, though not at the Tempur-Pedic's level. The foam cradles the body really nicely without feeling compressed and overheating.
Durability
The Malouf passed our 6-month gruesome bottoming-out test, so we're AFFIRMATIVE that this topper will last you a long time.
However, it doesn't come with a protective cover, like the Tempur-Pedic, meaning the sleep surface is not stain- or water-proof.
Comfort
The Malouf Isolus 2-inch Ventilated focuses on maximizing ventilation, which explained the foam thickness and the name.
